Casting call for "Cloverleaf" Movie in Texas this summer

Miss Ann sent this out, so I thought I would post on the forum.   <NOT WORTHY>

Casting Calls are wrapping up May 27th for a Movie being made called "Cloverleaf".
This is "HOT" ... I am on it trying to get the Author; Sharon York at the Barrel Blast May 20-22!

If you know someone who may want a shot at being Cast in this movie... do NOT delay - contact them right away!
 
If I can get her to the Blast to see all the Talent that weekend then some of you can get an "edge" on it by actually meeting these people face to face and then they can see you or your Child competing in person.
 
Please spread news around to your friends fast because the deadling is May 27th ... I am trying to get copies of Sharon York's 2 books that she has written about High School Rodeo adventures ...I will share then at the May 20-22 Purina Barrel Blast if I can get them.

Sounds cool. I might ask my parents to let me send in a tape. They might let me spend the summer in Texas... well probably not, but it would be awesome! I made the music/drama teacher cry I was so good in the school play. Not that that was a movie or anything, but it would still be cool. And what better than about something I love? <:)

Hey, does anybody know if this movie, after its filmed an' all, is coming to theatres? Or is it only on dvd/video through their website? cause it would be cool to watch it after its filmed. I read the first chapter on the site... sounds like a good movie after its filmed. <:)


Or has anybody read the book? Is it good? <:)

I wrote them to get a couple of word files to read..  Heck I am auditioning!  I told them I could be 18 again!!!!  I am sure with the right make up I could look it! ;)  I sure feel like I am still 18.   They said to audition and if they like your acting and see you in a certain role they would cast you for it.

Tamet, didn't we get a notice a couple of months ago about avoiding some people who were going around saying they were making a barrel racing movie?  I don't remember the exact warning, but that was the first thing I thought of when you posted this.  Are you SURE it's legit?

Hi - Anna Bierman of Barrel Blast Productions here.  Visit the website for the Movie "Cloverleaf" - anyone can check this out which is why I gave the web link to the site in the original email.  I do understand your concern and I agree that we all have to be "skeptical" when it comes to our industry.  Sharon York is a reputable Author who has already published 2 books with a High School Rodeo storyline and adventures of it's barrel racers.  THIS JUST IN >>>>>  Sharon York has booked a flight to Texas!  We will have her at the Purina Barrel Blast in Katy, Texas May 20-22 to visit with and discuss the upcoming Film... I dont remember that.   I would say since the lady has already bought her airline tickets and she is going to be set up next to me in the booth area that she is pretty legit.   <ROCKON>  8).

I was wondering the same thing.  Just the handful of characters listed on the website?

The first person to come back on the board and tell me who Sharons Sister is Wins a Blooper DVD.  Going to have to do some research so get after it folks
