It’s time
for BRAT’s ANNUAL LOST & FORGOTTEN ANGELS jackpot!! Barrel
Racing Association of Texas will be hosting their $100 added
Open 5D monthly jackpot this Sunday, December 7th at
Diamond W Arena in Alavarado, Texas. Books open at 10:00 AM –
sorry, no call-ins. Exhibitions
at 11:00 AM. The Youth 3D will run at 3:00 PM followed by the
Open 5D. Top 3 prizes including NICK CUNNINGHAM TROPHY
BUCKLES will be awarded in each D in the Youth and Open. As
you know, exhibitions fill up pretty fast so come early. As
always, non-members are very welcome!
We also ask each participant to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the Salvation Army’s Lost and Forgotten Angel program this weekend. We want Christmas to be as joyous to everyone as it is to us! We have received some calls regarding vendor spaces for this weekend at Diamond W. BRAT will not be charging a vendor fee this weekend; instead, we ask only that a donation be made to the Lost & Forgotten Angels. We would LOVE to have vendors – so come on out and set up!DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE RAFFLE! We will be raffling off a $250.00 Visa Card right in time for Christmas. Chances to win are $1.00 and the drawing will be held at number #50 in the Open. I’ve attached a sheet of tickets if anyone needs any tickets to sell. Remember – the more money we make the more money we can spend on you guys for year-end awards! We will be giving a prize to the person that sells the most as well! If you’re looking for somewhere else to go this weekend there is also the NBHA 19 this Saturday at Rendon Indoor Arena. NBHA is also hosting their annual “Bareback Barrel Race”. Should be lots of fun! Exhibitions start at 12:00 and the Youth begins at 3:00 followed by the Seniors and then the Open. Hope to see y’all this weekend!
