Going to try this again……Barrel Racing Association of Texas is excited to be starting out the new 2009-2010 season this coming up weekend, Saturday – June 13th at Cleburne Outdoor Arena - OOOPPPPS that has changed to Diamond W due to rain.  PLEASE NOTE THE NEW START TIMES!!!  Books will open at 9:00 AM – sorry, no call-ins; exhibitions starting at 10:00 AM. The 15 & Under Youth 3D will run at 2:00 PM followed by the Open 5D. Top 3 prizes will be awarded in each D including ZEBRA THEMED TROPHY HALTERS in the Youth & Open.  Exhibitions do fill up very fast so come early. As always, non-members are very welcome!  

One of the rule changes this year is concerning the Youth.  The date of eligibility is 15 & Under as of May 1^st, 2009.  BRAT’s season begins on May 1^st so it made sense to make this change.  Also, youth members – could you please bring your birth certificate or copy to the sign-up table and show to one of the director’s.  A director will initial the verification on your membership form.  This verification must be received before any year-end awards will be given.
