TSBRA would like to welcome all new and returning members for the 2008 - 2009 point season.  We had a GREAT turn out for our Fall Round-Up at Rendon last Sunday.  We had 50 Pole entries, 13 Youth entries and 71 Open entries.  Way to go!  Congratulations to all D winners and award winners!  With the large number of exhibition entries we booked up really fast so we apologize to any that were not able to get their exhibition run. 

 

We will be printing copies of the by-laws with the new changes for this year.  Those will be available at the next race so be sure to pick one up when you sign up. 

 

For the 2008 - 2009 point year we voted to cancel the August barrel race and have a fundraiser in place of the jack-pot.  It was extremely too HOT last year and we did not have enough participation.  More details to come.....

 

AWARDS...in order to qualify for year end awards you must participate in 50% of the races.  Last year we awarded tons of great stuff;  Pole Champion Saddle, Youth Champion Saddle, Open Top 5 Barrel Saddles, Youth and Open All Around Saddles, Youth and Senior Rookie Buckles, Top 12 Youth awards, Top 15 Pole awards, Top 25 Open awards.  Don't miss out!  It is not too late to join, print off an application and mail it in!

 

Our next race is Sunday, October 19th at Salt Creek Indoor Arena.  Pole exhibitions start at Noon followed by the Pole Class.  Barrel exhibitions start at 2pm, Youth Class 4pm, and the Open Class will follow.  You will always be able check www.ebarrelracing.com for news, upcoming events, and current standings.  We will also try to email the jack-pot results to all members after each race in a timely manner.  Please keep in mind we all have jobs, and points are a very time consuming second job!
