Welcome to NBHA TX 19

NBHA TEXAS 19 has started the new-year. On average Tx 19 offers 2 shows a months.  If you have not become a member there?s a lot of shows left to get in the standings. Texas 19 offers a competitive, professional and organized environment for our competitors and there families. We are a growing district; Tx 19 has set high goals to improve our shows and awards. Of course non-members are welcome..

Texas 19 will be trying new things for the 2009 year. One will be a new starting time for the Classes. There will be an additional page of Exhibitions added from 3:00-3:30. This page will be limited to persons entering any of the classes. This will allow a better opportunity for each horse entered an option of an exhibition on the last page.

We are also going to have awards at some of the shows in the 2009 year.  After the saddles series we will start having awards at the individual shows. Our first show with awards will start April  There are no requirements except running in the class and paying the awards fee.  More information as they develop will be posted on www.ebarrelracing.com and at our shows. The buckle series dates have been set for July 3^rd and 4^th at Cleburne Outdoor arena. We are also in the works of a second saddle series the second half of the point year.

May 1^st Texas 19, APHA and Benbrook stables will be having a show to support St Jude Children?s Research Hospital. This show will be on Friday night with exhibitions at 6pm and the classes at 9pm.  This IS A REGULAR Texas 19 district show. Same rules, same set of points and the same pay out. There will be buckle?s awarded in the Open in each D. There is a $10 nomination fee; this fee will be donated back to St Jude.  The show will be at Benbrook Stables. This is a new arena for us and hope to have a great turnout.

Please also pay notice to the new entry cards. There will be a different entry card for each class. The new cards will be color-coded and will have the class on the card. We are trying a new system to attempt to keep the entries organized so as the class is run there is quick turn over in results and payout checks. The cards have considerably less on them so please complete them to ensure your information is entered correctly. If you are a recurring member and run often at NBHA Tx 19 it is not necessary to fill out your address every time. If you have a question as to if Texas 19 has your address please fill this out.

Just a Reminder:

Members are required to work 15 hours and get a minimum $50 sponsor per year in order to be eligible to receive year-end awards.  I know at times it seems things are handled but there is always room for extra help.  It is graciously received and appreciated!
