Kid Safe!!Gave lessons on him to a 5yr old although, fit for an aggressive adult as well. He is laid back but will work and run hard when asked. This loving athlete has a long stride and is consistent in the 3d when galloping; has placed in the 2d. Haul him anywhere; run him in small or big pattern. This big beautiful bayis 9 and has the heart to do anything.I bought him off the track when he was 5 and trained him for barrels. Nice 7yr, 15.1H, mare that I've owned for the last 2 years and brought along correct and slow. She is by and own son of Dash For Cash and out of a race winning daughter of Gilbert by Easy Jet, she is tattooed, but is selling as grade due to registration issues with AQHA. She rides well, bends, flexes, moves off leg, great stop, backs, rollbacks, counterbend and very patterned on the barrels. I've spent a lot of time on the basics on this mare and she has been done right. Has been lightly started on poles also. This mare has been hauled and exhibitioned since spring and is now being entered. Her second run ever she clocked in the bottom of the 3D, her third run she won the 4D in tough competition. She is very patterned, hunts her barrels, will slow work at home or a jackpot. Doesn't need tuning during the week, just exercise her and go to the jackpot. She is very easy to run, doesn't need much help, natural rate, has never hit a barrel, and hasn't been asked for everything on the pattern yet. She has a lot more to give and will make a very nice horse, 1D/rodeo potential. Just needs to be hauled and seasoned, hasn't seen many arenas yet. She is very quiet, make a run and turn around and walk back through on a loose rein. Will practice slow all day. All the hard work is done, just needs to go! She handles all types of ground well, including mud and should make a nice rodeo horse with more seasoning. She is not marish, easy to handle, clips, loads, bathes, stands for shoer, etc. Rides and runs in a D-ring snaffle, no tie down. She has one bad habit, she will occassionally sit back when tied. I tie her with a blocker ring, or just wrap the rope around the fence and she is fine and will stand. Needs an experienced rider, not for little kids or beginners due to being spooky at new places still. Nice mare that could go far in the right hands. Miss Mito Doctor,a flashy 13 year old mare, is a finished barrel and head horse,she does an amazing job on both ends. Mito is extremely athletic and really easy to ride,easy enough for any age rider. Spark has been a great horse for my daughter. She rode him for about two years. The first 1-1/2 she received lessons with him under an expierenced lady near Waco, Tx. He knows all the play day patterns very well. He has no bad habits. He has been a great horse for us. My daughter started riding him when she was 10 yrs old. He was her second horse. When she was tired of coming in last and slow loping the patterns she wanted a faster horse so we got Spark. He does very well at local play days. He was usually about 2-1/2 sec off the lead time at the our jr rodeo. She has won money at the play days. He has been in rodeos and parades. He has never run away with my daughter or even indicated that he would. Very controllable. We have done alot of slow work with him. We ride him in the open pasture, beside the highway, and in the arena. He is about 14.5 hands. He is what I describe as a second level kid horse. Storm is a big stout gelding that is very long strided and is just a dream to ride. He's quiet, brave and strong. He has been started on the barrels, ridden some playdays, parades and team penning. NO bad habits - will load, haul, clip, trim and bathe with absolutely no qualms about him. Caliches Capt. Rocket, barn name Rocket, is a 9 year old registered AQHA bay gelding. He is 15.1 hh and is a push type horse that anyone can ride. Rocket is a finished barrel horse and is running 2D times at the small shows and 3-4D at the big shows here in Texas. I have won a few buckles on him this past year. I ride him in an Argentine snaffle w/no tiedown. Rocket knows clovers, poles, straights & the stake race. He will not run away with you or run past a barrel. He has been hauled to numerous barrel competitions and open rodeos. The lights and noise at a rodeo do not bother him. You can make a run on him and turn around and he will walk the pattern for you.
