Lexington, Ky.<\/strong> \u2013 Blood-Horse Publications announces that The Blood-Horse MarketWatch<\/strong><\/em>, a comprehensive newsletter for Thoroughbred investment professionals, has received an Award for Publication Excellence in the print newsletter class of the twentieth annual APEX\u00ae Awards. The esteemed program recognizes excellence in publications work by professional communicators. APEX\u00ae Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. The Blood-Horse MarketWatch<\/strong><\/em> was one of nearly 4,500 national and international entries in this year\u2019s competition. Overall, 1,393 Awards of Excellence were awarded, recognizing exceptional entries in 110 subcategories. The APEX\u00ae Awards are sponsored by the editors of Writing That Works, a division of Communications Concepts, Inc.<\/p>\n

The APEX\u00ae Award is the second publication honor bestowed upon The Blood-Horse MarketWatch<\/em><\/strong> in the past month. In June, the newsletter was also awarded Second Place in the equine-related newsletter (print) category of the 2008 American Horse Publications\u2019 Awards Program. This marks the third time in the past four years The Blood-Horse MarketWatch<\/strong><\/em> has won an APEX\u00ae Award.<\/p>\n
