America\u2019s Horse, March 3, 2009 \u2013<\/em><\/span>Wish you could share your favorite horseback riding spot with the world? Now you can in AQHA\u2019s Life is a Ride video contest. That\u2019s right; shoot a video of you and your horse at your favorite riding locale, and you could win some great prizes, including the grand prize from Quarter Horse Outfitters!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n AQHA\u2019s inaugural QuarterFest (www.aqha.com\/quarterfest<\/a><\/em>) celebration is May 1-3 in\u00a0Murfreesboro,\u00a0Tennessee, and 10 riders will be picked from submitted DVDs to receive VIP passes and tickets to\u00a0the QuarterFest Extravaganza, which is scheduled for the evenings of Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, in the Tennessee Miller Coliseum. The grand-prize winner also will receive a great Quarter Horse Outfitters prize package and the opportunity to participate in the Extravaganza.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Your video entry needs to be no more than two minutes long and needs to show you and your American Quarter Horse at one of your favorite spots for a day in the saddle. Even if you aren\u2019t one of the 10 finalists, there\u2019s a good chance your video will be seen by everyone attending QuarterFest, so you also need to include a greeting in the video. An example of a greeting is: “Hi everybody, this is Jane Smith and my American Quarter Horse\u00a0Joe Bob Billy! We’re in our favorite riding spot … Anywhere Park, USA, and we’d like to welcome you to QuarterFest!”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n So, roll those cameras and get your DVDs sent by April 1. Only one entry per person, please.
