\nThe American Quarter Horse Journal, October 15, 2009<\/em> \u2013 AQHA has released the second DVD in the Showing to Win series. \u201cShowing to Win: Trail\u201d is an in-depth look at one of the most popular western show classes. The DVD is geared for all trail exhibitors, trainers and judges.<\/p>\n

For \u201cShowing to Win: Trail,\u201d AQHA teamed with some of the best-known and well-respected AQHA Professional Horsemen, judges and exhibitors in Charlie Cole, Leslie Lange and Jim Searles, who walk viewers through the required parts of the pattern and explain the maneuver scores, pluses and minuses.<\/p>\n

\u201cShowing to Win: Trail\u201d illustrates the standards and provides information exhibitors need to successfully navigate a trail pattern and the judge\u2019s score card. Using unique graphics and video technology, \u201cShowing to Win: Trail\u201d defines the trail scoring system and what the judges are looking for in a trail pattern.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis DVD series is designed to help exhibitors understand the rules and the judging standards of the classes to help improve the performance of their horses in the show pen,\u201d said Alex Ross, AQHA executive director of judges. \u201cWe appreciate the AQHA Professional Horsemen who shared their expertise in trail to help other exhibitors become better riders.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShowing to Win: Trail\u201d will be available for purchase at the AQHA booth at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio, which continues through October 25, and also at Quarter Horse Outfitters at the AQHA World Show Trade Show, November 6-21 in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n

This DVD is the second in a series presenting the standards expected in AQHA\u2019s most popular classes. \u201cShowing to Win: Western Pleasure\u201d became the best-selling AQHA DVD of all time when it was released in the spring.
