Dublin, TX, April 8, 2010 \u2013 Performance, speed, agility, heart and character are all words used to describe the fine equine athletes that
\nbarrel racers across the world own and love. The Barrel Racing Report honored these fine equine athletes in the first ever Barrel Racing
\nReport Barrel Horses of the Year. The votes have been tallied and the champions have been crowned.
\n This exciting inaugural event began with open nominations to all horses that fit their respective categories. All nominations were allowed
\nfor the first year of voting. Each category was posted online at www.barrelracingreport.com<\/a> for voting which commenced in mid February.
\nThousands of votes were cast in each category, an impressive turnout for the first annual event. The final vote was based 50% on
\npopular vote and 50% on committee vote. This process resulted in a well deserving group of barrel horses, owners and riders who have all
\nearned their titles.
\n Each of the champions will be featured in upcoming issues of the Barrel Racing Report (www.barrelracingreport.com<\/a>).
