Banks\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 donation will contribute to the all-new American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame &#038; Museum, which will open in early 2007.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ken has been a longtime supporter of the American Quarter Horse by giving of his time, money and expertise,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said AQHA Executive Vice President Bill Brewer. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Ken\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s generosity underscores his love of the American Quarter Horse and his dedication to the Foundation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mission. We truly appreciate Ken and his gift to the Foundation.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Banks, a 10-year breeder from Schulenburg, Texas, serves on the Foundation\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Campaign Cabinet as leadership gifts committee chairman.<\/p>\n<p>An avid competitor, he has had several World Show qualifiers, including reserve world champions in working cow horse, reining and western pleasure and a world champion in western pleasure.<\/p>\n<p>He is president of International Muffler Company, a muffler parts manufacturer with 325 employees. He also owns and operates Banks Ranch in Schulenburg, Texas. Banks has two sons, Russell and Paul, who are involved in IMCO.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The work of the American Quarter Horse Foundation is very important to our Association,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Banks said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Our goal of building a new Hall of Fame &#038; Museum filled with the history of the horse way of life will be treasured for many generations. I am proud of that work. The Foundation is delivering an added dimension to our Association. Scholarships, equine research, therapeutic riding and preserving our history \u00e2\u20ac\u201c these programs bring a kinder, gentler feel to AQHA.
