More than 3,300 entries from around the world are competing at this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p>Follow along with the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">World Show schedule<\/span> and stay up to date with show results on the World Show microsite:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aqha.com\/worldshow\">www.aqha.com\/worldshow<\/a>.\u00a0The American Quarter Horse Journal\u00a0will provide online coverage of the show, so check back often.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coming to OKC?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While at the World Show, stop by the trade show in the Travel &amp; Transportation Building and in the Cox Pavilion. It will be open November 5 from noon to 6 p.m., November 6-9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and November 10-20 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Built Ford Tough<\/span> Club will have a cash bar with light hors d&#8217;oeuvres each evening. Access to the club is by membership only. Located inside State Fair Arena in Section 300, the club has a great view above the entrance alleyway into the coliseum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special Events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be sure to purchase a World Show program at the show, so you won\u2019t miss any of the great events planned.<\/p>\n<p>November 11:<br \/>\n\u2022\tShow your support for our veterans and troops by wearing red and picking up a flag button at the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quarter Horse Outfitters<\/span> booth in the Travel &amp; Transportation Building.<\/p>\n<p>November 12:<br \/>\n\u2022\tFind out who wins the coveted\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Farnam<\/span> All-Around Amateur award and thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMargarita Madness takes place from 5-6:30 p.m. in the trade show buildings, hosted by\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Justin Boots<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>November 13:<br \/>\n\u2022\tWear pink to honor horsemen and -women who have fought a battle with cancer. The Rein in Cancer event will take place during the evening finals performance.<br \/>\n\u2022\tThe University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center will be offering free health screenings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sales Pavilion. The event is open to all<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">AQHA Professional Horsemen<\/span> and their employees, as well as World Show spectators. The health screening\u00a0 will include a blood pressure check, cholesterol and glucose tests, and oral cavity and skin exams. The health fair was moved to the barns to be closer to the hardworking people who take care of the great American Quarter Horses.<br \/>\n\u2022\tAQHA Professional Horseman Mike Major, who won the first-ever\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Project Cowboy<\/span> contest in Fort Worth in September, will perform the freestyle routine that placed him above more than 200 contestants that were vying to be named atop the Project Cowboy scoreboard.<\/p>\n<p>November 16:<br \/>\n\u2022\tThe American Quarter Horse Journal\u00a0is sponsoring an exhibitor appreciation reception at 7:30 p.m.. One of Oklahoma City\u2019s finest party bands, Prime Time, will entertain while exhibitors enjoy drinks, food and a special parade of Farnam Superhorse contenders.<\/p>\n<p>November 17:<br \/>\n\u2022\t<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">AQHA World Championship Show Sale<\/span> performance demonstration, 9 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>November 18:<br \/>\n\u2022\tMargarita Madness takes place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the trade show buildings, hosted by\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">John Deere<\/span> and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">AQHA Members Plus<\/span>.<br \/>\n\u2022\tCome find your dream horse! The AQHA World Championship Show Sale, brought to you by\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Professional Auction Services<\/span> will take place at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>November 19:<br \/>\n\u2022\tWhen the top equestrian drill teams from Texas and Oklahoma face off, the result is an all-out Battle of the Borders. This exciting showdown will take place at 7 p.m.<br \/>\n\u2022\tCome find your dream horse!
