Stevens comes to APHA with more than three years of experience in publications, social media, graphics, photography and writing in the equine and cattle industries. She has written for the American Quarter Horse Association as well as\u00a0Palomino Horses Magazine\u00a0and The Cattle Range web-based company.<\/p>\n<p>Stevens graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture media and communications from West Texas A&amp;M University in Canyon, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>A member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Stevens owns a 4-year-old red roan Quarter Horse mare that she is training for showmanship and Western pleasure. She hopes to expand her mare\u2019s training to include more classes in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Stevens is excited to work for the second-largest stock horse breed registry in the United States. \u201cThe horse industry is where I want to be.
