{"id":5273,"date":"2011-10-27T11:19:39","date_gmt":"2011-10-27T04:19:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/?p=5273"},"modified":"2019-03-24T00:22:32","modified_gmt":"2019-03-24T06:22:32","slug":"will-rogers-memorial-center-news-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/industry\/will-rogers-memorial-center-news-release\/","title":{"rendered":"Will Rogers Memorial Center news release"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Voluntary quarantine protocols were initiated after a horse at the Appaloosa Horse Club World Championship at the Fort Worth Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) displayed what appeared to be neurological symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>These steps are only voluntary and precautionary, pending test results and a diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>There is no evidence of any spread of the symptoms found in the original horse, but as part of the precautionary measures, the barns and implements have been sanitized and the process will continue every two hours throughout the day until the voluntary quarantine is lifted.<\/p>\n<p>The voluntary quarantine is for animals only, and officials have asked that no animals leave or enter the facility.<\/p>\n<p>The ApHC classes have been canceled for today only. A decision on the remaining events will be made pending results of the tests.
