<\/font><\/span>August 11, 2006<\/em> — On Saturday, entries will be taken for the prestigious running of the 47th<\/sup> All American Futurity (G1) at Ruidoso Downs Race Track and Casino. <\/span><\/font>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font>This historical race, worth more than $2 million dollars, currently has 342 2-year-olds eligible to enter with talk of five probable supplemental nominations at $50,000 each.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font>\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/font>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Approximately 50 percent of eligible horses actually enter the trials,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Rick Baugh, Ruidoso Downs General Manager. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153So we are looking to run 16-18 trials on Thursday, August 17.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/font>The only changes the public will experience in the running of this event are coupled entries.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/font>\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The coupled entry rule has been changed in New Mexico; we no longer have coupled entries in stakes, allowance and overnight races, which we feel benefits the betting public,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Baugh said.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
