\u201cSustaining the Legacy\u201d is an original colored-pencil illustration by noted equine artist Suanne Wamsley. The piece was specially commissioned to mark APHA\u2019s 50th anniversary. Suanne produced the work in her Sunbird Studio in Ruidoso, New Mexico, using her signature photo-realism technique. The original will hang in the APHA headquarters in Fort Worth. Individuals joining, renewing or extending their membership for five years will receive an 8\u201d x 10\u201d fine art print of the original, ready for framing.<\/p>\n
Individuals who choose a three-year membership will be automatically enrolled in a drawing to win a beautiful 50th anniversary buckle from Gist Silversmiths. It\u2019s No. 3 in a series of only 500 buckles\u2014a $150 retail value. Buckle No. 1 recently sold in an eBay auction benefiting the APHA Foundation for $2,475.<\/p>\n
Five-year members will also be automatically enrolled in a drawing to win a one-of-a-kind sterling silver version of the 50th anniversary buckle by APHA Corporate Partner Gist Silversmiths. It\u2019s a $1,950 value\u2014and is the one and only buckle of this type that will ever be produced.<\/p>\n
