\nFORT WORTH \u2013 Paint Horse Journal, the flagship publication of the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), earned recognition for excellence in editorial and design June 22 at the 2013 AHP Seminar in Colorado Springs, Colorado.<\/p>\n
In a field of 758 entries from 104 contestants\u2014the largest group to date\u2014the Paint Horse Journal rose to the top in seven categories in the annual competition for equine-industry publications. Among the magazine\u2019s accolades were three first-place awards and runner-up in the category of General Excellence\u2013Association Publication.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Paint Horse Journal staff strives to provide our readers with high-quality articles that celebrate Paint Horses and enrich the experiences of the people who love them,\u201d Paint Horse Journal Editor Jessica Hein said. \u201cIt\u2019s wonderful to receive industry recognition for our hard work and dedication to the magazine, the breed and our members.\u201d<\/p>\n
