PAC is open to almost any type of activity as long as the competition is sponsored by an organization that keeps official records on the performance of all horses entered in the event. In addition to potentially increasing the value of their horses, PAC participants are also eligible for year-end awards and titles from the American Paint Horse Association (APHA).<\/p>\n<p>Beginning January 1, 2014, an exciting expansion of the popular program adds 13 youth-specific categories. For the first time, youth (18 &#038; under) will be able to compete amongst their peers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur Executive Committee understands the importance of allowing a larger spectrum of participants with an opportunity to receive recognition for their hard work,\u201d said PAC Coordinator Karen Utecht of the program changes approved by the Executive Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Existing Categories<br \/>\nHalter<br \/>\nDressage<br \/>\nEnglish Equitation<br \/>\nEquitation<br \/>\nBarrel Racing<br \/>\nGames<br \/>\nShowmanship<br \/>\nTimed Events<br \/>\nTrail<br \/>\nWalk-Trot<br \/>\nWestern Pleasure<\/p>\n<p>New Categories Added for 2014<br \/>\nYouth Halter<br \/>\n4-H Halter<br \/>\nYouth Dressage<br \/>\n4-H Dressage<br \/>\nYouth English Pleasure<br \/>\nYouth Equitation<br \/>\nYouth Barrel Racing<br \/>\nYouth Games<br \/>\nYouth Showmanship<br \/>\nYouth Timed Events<br \/>\nYouth Trail<br \/>\nYouth Walk-Trot<br \/>\nYouth Western Pleasure<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the committee approved a new PAC lifetime achievement award. The PAC Versatility Champion title will be awarded to any horse that has earned a PAC Certificate of Achievement in 5 different categories.<\/p>\n<p>PAC enrollment is easy and rewarding.
