The husband-and-wife team bring years of Western event judging experience to the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carl McCuistion<\/strong><br \/>\nCarl McCuistion has been involved in the equine business for 22 years. The Wilson, Oklahoma, resident has been a judge for six years and holds cards with APHA, NRCHA, NRHA and AQHA. He judged the roping classes at the APHA World Show in 2004 and 2006, and has judged other prestigious events, such as the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, the Quarter Horse Congress and the AJQHA World Show. McCuistion is a professional trainer who specializes in reining, working cow horses and team roping horses. He has shown numerous APHA and AQHA world and reserve world champions.<\/p>\n<p>Carl will conduct a Working Ranch Horse clinic, in which participants and their Paint Horses will learn basic to advanced skills designed for success on the ranch and in the competition arena.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Karen McCuistion<\/strong><br \/>\nKaren McCuistion, also of Wilson, has been an NRHA judge for 17years. She holds cards with APHA, NRCHA, NSBA, PHBA and AQHA. She hasjudged such prestigious events as the NRCHA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s World\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Greatest Horseman competition, the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, the NRCHA Stakes, the NRHA Reining Futurity and the APHA, PHBA and AQHA World Shows.<\/p>\n<p>Karen is a professional trainer who specializes in reining, working cow horses and team roping horses, and in coaching amateur exhibitors in these events. She has been a finalist at the AQHA World Show numerous times.<\/p>\n<p>During APHA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Working Ranch Horse competition, she will coach participants through the Versatility Practice, helping them hone their skills on the outdoor Stock Horse Versatility trail course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More about the Competition<\/strong><br \/>\nIn addition to the valuable learning experiences offered by the McCuistions, the Working Ranch Horse competition also features a variety of unique classes to test participants\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 skills, including Stock Horse Pleasure, Stock Horse Versatility, Working Stock Horse (NRCHA dual-approved classes available) and Stock Horse Reining (NRHA dual-approved classes available). Participants may enter any or all of the four events.
