{"id":7145,"date":"2016-07-03T17:37:11","date_gmt":"2016-07-03T23:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/?p=7145"},"modified":"2019-03-20T13:13:51","modified_gmt":"2019-03-20T19:13:51","slug":"wnv-positive-florida-horse-also-had-eee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/industry\/wnv-positive-florida-horse-also-had-eee\/","title":{"rendered":"WNV-Positive Florida Horse Also had EEE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Florida animal health officials have confirmed that horse that\u00a0tested positive for <a title=\"Articles on the site about WNV\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/?tag=west-nile-virus\">West Nile virus <\/a>(WNV) earlier this week\u00a0has also tested positive for <a title=\"Articles on the site about EEE\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/?tag=eastern-equine-encephalitis\">Eastern equine encephalitis<\/a> (EEE), the Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) reported June 30.<\/p>\n<p>The EDCC said the Florida Department of Agriculture &amp; Consumer Services reported one EEE- positive horse with illness onset of June 22 in Osceola County.
