{"id":849,"date":"2007-01-24T21:05:16","date_gmt":"2007-01-24T14:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/?p=849"},"modified":"2007-01-24T21:05:43","modified_gmt":"2007-01-24T14:05:43","slug":"paint-horses-excel-at-nrha-futurity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ebarrelracing.com\/articles\/industry\/paint-horses-excel-at-nrha-futurity\/","title":{"rendered":"Paint Horses excel at NRHA Futurity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>FORT WORTH, TEXAS<\/em>\u00e2\u20ac\u201dThe American Paint Horse Association (APHA) recognized four talented horses with Gelding Plus and Paint Preferred incentive money for their efforts at the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity, held Nov. 23\u00e2\u20ac\u201cDec. 2, 2006 at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City.<br \/>\nPart of APHA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s effort to reward Paint Horses for their success in competition, the Gelding Plus and Paint Preferred incentive programs honor the owners of top Paint Horses with thousands in added cash. APHA awarded $15,000 in added money to program winners at the 2006 NRHA Futurity.<\/p>\n<p>This year, 2007, will mark a significant change for APHA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s incentive programs. While the Gelding Plus program will now be distributed to top geldings in APHA Zone competition, increased Paint Preferred incentives will be available at NRHA Futurity.
