Hey everyone! We just pulled in. Hit my driveway at 9:30pm tonite. Left katy at 4:30pm! Whew!!
Well---i made it thru the weekend--no cigs!! And oh ya bobby....no doughnuts either. U don't have to ever worry bout them tho--i don't like them. Haha. I was real pleased with LilBit. His runs were fantastic. He's on his way back to the paywindow and its with a nonsmoker and a lighter jockey really soon. ;)

Thanks! I am tryn so hard. As if one thing aint bad enuff, then I got two things going on! I am going with rebecca lucas to a hypnotist on the 11th. I do not know if that will remotely work on me because they say you have to really want something to make it work. Yes I want to quit but I have times when I really WANT A CIGARETTE!!! LOL. So in that situation? Who wins?? Ill either come back smoking like a train or never smoking again. Or perhaps ill just go in there, smile sweetly at the lady, tell her I love her shirt and say see you later! Haha.

well Laura it is day 4 for me and I still think I can do it. Even drank two beers last night without smoking one whooo hooo!
so hope I kick it again, because if my little hubby ever asked me if I was smoking again, I would have to tell him the truth! and it would break his heart!

I am day 15 today. I know I make it to 30 I can quit counting--im good. This weekend I talked to an old friend who has a daughter my age--she ran in the srs with mom. I was just standing with her and noticed she wasn't smoking which I knew she was a heavy smoker in the past. She told me she quit 3 yrs old. Now if she can do it anyone can!! And the added incentive of all the money to save, well I figured its enough to feed my horses nearly two weeks! Or enter 2 horses and processing fees at ardmore!! I know you can do this diana--just keep going. I'm right with you. :)

Betsy-she is already running the barn this morning. I went with jamie in the cow truck to georgetown to pick up cattle. I haven't seen him in forever and we keep passing eachother. Christi's brother Boots is at the house this morning shoeing horses and cait is large and in charge!! Shoe this, shoe that--hahaha. She has already fed, cleaned all the stalls and now telling boots which horses are next. Lol!! Dang. Are we related or what! Lol!

I told rebecca that I have never drank this much water in my life. She turned me into a water freak. Lol. I don't eat anything that's big. Smaller portions! I got a burger at the rodeo and couldn't eat it all --threw part away. I don't think I'm eating as much but I don't think I'm eating at certain times either. I know this morning I didn't eat at all!! Too much sun yesterday and man I am sickkkkkk today!!

Laura you need to be REAL careful with the heat after last year. The heat and sun will be harder on you from now own. Keep your umbrella handy and a big hat.

Even after we stayed under the canopy and the covered bleachers?? Just took my temp. Its only 99.2 so that's not bad. But I can't hold anything down today. Just ate a slice of bread so ill see how that goes.

oh my laura , get well , cant be havimg you sick, and you cant be around alot of clinic peeps with fever, stay in bed vicks on your feet with socks is suppose to pull out all toxins i have been doing that for awhile since i was small, mom use to do that to me when i was a small child , and always making me eat it too yuk...sending prayers your way, im still not feeling good either shure wish the blood pressure would stay low as it is during the day most all the time and not shoot up at night, but im going to a new doc yaa hopefully she can fix me up right my apt. isnt till the 10th of july soonest i can get in but paitently waiting,
also i made a pack a few days ago im cleaning my trailor and not going to smoke in it no more and maybe this will help me stop as well....

Just laying here this morning. I have not been this sick in a long time.
Either this is due to 1. My not completely over flu I had earlier this month 2. Some new bug I picked up or 3. This is has something to do with withdrawal from the toxins of nicotine. Possibly the latter has something to do with my being more vunerable to getting sick. Who knows?? I just know I hate being sick and the cabana boy better hurry and get here. He should be here in a couple of hours. Did anyone get the license plate to the truck that ran over me cuz that's what I feel like. :(
