Any suggestions on getting to Ok City in the morning? Also, does anyone know if you turn out your first run in the futurity, can you still make your second run?

The only luck we've ever had when conditions are like this is going to Wichita Falls and then up the HE Bailey turnpike. But unless things change a lot today, I'm not sure that will even be possible. Whatever you decide to do, please be careful and watch out for the crazies on the road that think they know what they are doing.

THINGS IN FT W & DALLAS HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN. DON'T KNOW ABOUT TODAY. DON'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT THE FUTURITY. ONE WOULD THINK WITH THE WEATHER SITUATION THEY WOULD BE VERY NICE ABOUT EVERYTHING BUT WHO KNOWS. I WOULD HATE TO BE PULLING A BIG TRAILER DOWN THE ROAD. THAT IS WHAT CASSY MOWERY IS DOING. EVERYONE STAY WARM & BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU GO SOMEWHERE. WARS ??? :-\ ;)

I just saw a Facebook post that said the BFA people were working with everyone who was having trouble. Don't know what that means exactly, but maybe you should try to contact them and find out.

WELL LETS SURELY HOPE SO. LORD HAVE MERCY WE ARE HAVING A HEAT WAVE HERE. IT HAS GONE FROM 20 TO 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T SEE SIGNS OF ANYTHING THAWING. Thank you all for all your suggestions. I do believe we will go to Wichita Falls and up the 44 turnpike. I did as you suggested and called the BFA and they did say they are working with people on the check in and if I could not get there for my first run I could still have my second run. Fortunatly, I do think we should be able to get there today and won't have to turn out my first run in the morning.

Oh I'm here WARS. Just trying to keep warm and working on remaining upright when I have to go outside. Not much else to do but eat and watch TV.

MY OUTSIDES HAVE BEEN VERY FEW FOR THAT REASON. MY BACK IS BAD ENOUGH WITHOUT ANOTHER FALL. I HAVE A PRECEDURE TOMORROW, IN WACO, BUT DON'T KNOW WHAT IT WILL BE, HOPEFULLY SOMETHING THAT WILL WORK FOR A WHILE. MY PICKUP IS REAL HARD TO START IN COLD WEATHER SO I CAREFULLY WENT TO IT YESTERDAY TO GET THAT JOB DONE. IT FINALLY STARTED. TAM'ET & I ARE GOING TO TOWN TODAY, SHE HAS THINGS TO DO, & I HAVE SOME MORE MEDS TO PICKUP. I TRY TO IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO WAKE UP, JUMP UP & DO A BUNCH OF THINGS. KEEP PRAYING THAT DAY WILL GET HERE. HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU'LL. TELL "C" HI WARS ::) ;D ;)
