I think the proc. fee is $10 per session and capped at $30.

I love Alvarado, and like what Will is trying to do.. So if the good Lords willing i'll be at Alvarado!

Thank you, I didn't see the part about the $30 cap. Although, I doubt if I'll be able to afford more than three runs any way. LOL

The warm up race is $50 and the Open is $75 per session.

I am sending off entry forms for three of us tomorrow.  If they are post marked by Monday, 8/10; the processing fees are waived.

I think it awsome to have more of these big races put on, more $ and better chances of winning, I like how they pay till 20! Should be a really fun race. Its too bad that they lost out in Ardmore, but hopefully they make up in Alvarado. I hope they get a good turn out, and continue these races!

I googled "Disco Barrel Race" and came to the PacWest website.  Here is the link for the flyer:

http://www.pacwestbarrelracing.com/uploads/disco%20barrel%20bash%20flyer.pdf

and the link for the entry form:

http://www.pacwestbarrelracing.com/uploads/disco%20barrel%20bash%20entry%20form.pdf

The flyer says the Open is $75, but the entry form also lists the warm up race at $50.

Hope it is OK that I posted these links, Tamet!!

I see the description of the 3D Jockey (non-pro) race on the flyer, but I don't see it on the entry form.  They list the amateur incentive, but not the 3D Jockey race.

There is a separate form on the same page.  If you want to roll your time and your incentives; it will roll to the Friday PM session.

I entered!!!!

I found all the entry forms, but I'm not sure I'll enter based on the $10 office fee for EACH race you enter.  Did I read that right? That really doesn't encourage people to run more than once.  The amount isn't really the issue either.  It's the whole idea of it.  The $30 to change horses was a bit high too.

I read tha if you enter for Friday and Saturday, your entry for Sunday is free.  That more than covers the $10 processing fee.  I think I might have to make this one!
