First, we are one of the few organizations that will allow rider changes under any circumstances. The main reason rider changes are not allowed, especially after the draw, is because some barrel racers will try to use rider changes to try and get a better draw position. You would not believe the tactics that a small amount of barrel racers will use to try and change draw positions like using rider and/or horse changes. The WBR postition is that we must make the barrel race fair to everybody. The rules are clearly stated before you enter.
