That right.....$10,000 Added Money, 12 Master Trophy Saddles, 24 buckles, Custom Tack Trophy Stirrups, Custom Tack Bronc Halters, & LOTS MORE COOL STUFF!!!!!!

We will also have the raffle saddle to be given out to a lucky winner on Sunday during the finals...it is also a Master Trophy Saddle donated by Knight Equine Insurance & Kristy Knight!!!

Pre entry deadline July 23rd with no late fees......you can enter at the show with a $25 late fee too!

Goodie bags, saddle raffle, open poles race after Spirit Night, Stall Contest, a very cute tractor driver wearing John Deere Undies and fun stuff at some big drags. Please come and make this a great show. I am opting for 1,000 riders.

I didn't think it would be much for her since no one in 20 is interested anymore, but now this sounds interesting.

With the cost of everything going up, including Chocolate Cake, many would rather hold on to the money until they see that they will make the show, if they can they are only out the little late fee, if they cant and they entered early they would stand a chance of loosing a lot of money. I am shooting for 1,000 riders and a large pay check from NBHA Texas and a chocolate cake and Rocky Road Ice Cream and new Wranglers and a new shirt and everything!!!

Wed. Aug. 8th- early move in,not before 6pm
Thur. Aug. 9th - open arena 10 am till 11:30 am, exb barrels 12 noon till 6pm. $5 each, 7pm Spirit Night starts, 8 pm Open 4D Poles

Friday Aug. 10th - Open 4D first go 9 am
Sat. Aug.11th- 2nd go OPen 4D @ 9 am
Sun. Aug. 12th - 8 am Church Service, 9:30 am OPen 4D Finals, Youth 4D, Senior 4D, saddle raffle winner,awards & pictures

RM...you could always take your old tack or horse stuff that you do not use to Huffman to the sale barn on Sat.night & get some entry fee $$$$....you would be surprised..it can add up!

The RV hookup is going to be $60 if I go Saturday, which is less than one night stay in the Host Hotel. I called them and it is $67 for the first night and I think $73 for Friday and Saturday. She said this is with the HOT discount.

You just have to decide what works best for you. I hate having to make decisions like that!!! They do have TONS more the rest of the year that I doubt you'd have much problem catching up. That's what I always tell myself when I miss something. If it's meant to be, it will be. You should go where you will be the most happy if it's at the state show I'm sure you'll have a blast, go there. If the saddle means that much to you, go there and don't give a second thought to the other options. If you go to the little jackpot with a bad attitude you probably won't do so good and then you'll be even more mad. The directors work hard to schedule around everything and some things are more complicated than others. Although I'm preaching to the choir since you've been a director and I haven't (although I can't say I haven't tried - just haven't been a member in consecutive years). Being positive is a HUGE thing! Good luck at whichever one you choose though!!!

Do not take it personally.. If you are then I'm sorry I understand it was all the directors that made that decision. I also know what my response was when something was said. I'm not going to change the way I feel. YES, it is my choice of where I'm going to go. I joined a association and I'm going to go to all the shows I can. There is no telling and something could come up and I have to miss one. After being a Director for 2 years missing 1 show can hurt you. Yes, I would love to go to state, but I'm not going to chance something that I have worked all year for. If I was not in the standings anywhere it would be a totally different story then. I'm probably the only one that will say something about it but I know there is other members that are upset and is not saying anything. To each is their own.

Exactly!!! STBRA has been around for 25 yrs for a reason and I have been a member since 1994!! I never said that they would not have a huge turnout at state, they do! You took that way out of context. I've been before and know that they get A Lot of people!!!
If you were so concerned you should of let me know about this at the beginning of year and I could of tried to schedule around it then you would not bash your home club, STBRA! Plus we have had on average 144 at our shows, that should be something to be proud of! I try to do this best I can do and you know that!!

I have NEVER been able to keep my niece or nephew! They are 11 and 13 now! Darn, they grow up so fast! I am now happy that I cant afford to go. Now I get to put a smile on a kids face! He had a lot of work to do but was sweet enough to put those on hold and him and his helper got-r-done. Got over there and the water heater hot water outlet was on top of the heater (just so you know that won't work under a couch not enough room for a elbow) sooooo off to Lowe's and they had one on display and didn't want to sell but I wasn't leaving without it! Well a few more grey hairs and a lot of sweat IT'S DONE!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm ready to have fun let the festivities begin!

Well i think it blistered her she is soooooooooo body sore I couldn't even enter her tonite at Runge. i have been bathing her all week trying to get it off but that is some tuff stuff. she is also stocked up in her rear end. it was VERY bad earlier this week but now its only her ankles. gave her a RVI shot tonite so maybe that will help if not off to the vet monday morning. she is pretty tough so i know it must hurt.

I was glad lilbit brought her friend with her i didn't even recognize Jennifer! she came over when she recognized me (guess i haven't changed much in 10 yrs) was good to vist with her she actually used to own my Josies mommie.. she had to go to the trailer to see what the "old josita" threw that was a good old war horse of a mare... kinda wish i had kept her and bred her back to 'woody".
