Title: Call from the county jail
Post by: Rodeo Mom on May 12, 2008, 08:36:23 AM
You receive a call from the county jail and they identify themselves as a dispatcher.  They inform you they have a loved one sitting in the office of a sargent and they need someone to talk to the person to get their personal belongings.  You ask who it is and they give you a number to a sargents desk where you can talk to the person.  The number starts out *72 and a number.  This gives the inmate access to outside lines.  You must dial *73 to stop the inmates lines outside.  It is real it happened to me.
