My 1 yr old son, Cason, has been admitted to Dallas Medical City Hospital. He is having some internal bleeding and they can't figure out where it is coming from. They have been running test on him and they will be going in with a camera in the morning to see if they can find the problem.

Blessed are you Lord or God king of the universe we ask that you guide these doctors and show them the problem.

Many prayers for you! I had one in the hospital when they were two and I think it is harder on the parents.

Just kind of an FYI....my son Levi did this very thing....they ran test after test and one test was for food poisoning...showed nothing! Then they did a test where they run a tube to the intestines from the "lower region" and see if there's a tear but it doesn't hurt them!!! Then they made him drink some kinda liquid and put him to sleep so they could watch it run it's course...THEN, re-tested for food poison, and were fixing to put him to sleep to do a laparoscope and BOOM! Came back positive for 3 types of food poison (he actually got it from the sitters~sitters hubby ran a chicken house and the types he had were from "run off water" from the houses"... SO.....it's going to be ok!!! It's probably something really simple....and besides, we will pray ALOT for yall !! GOD BLESS YA!

First I would love to thank everyone who has prayed for us during this time. I can not tell you how much we appreciate all of you.
We had a very rough night and morning. He just got back from having a upper GI endoscopy and a colonoscopy. They didnt find anything on with the camera. They took a couple of biopsies and we are waiting on results from those. They have run test after test and he is still loosing blood. We have tested and retested for almost everything. ??? Now we are waiting on the Dr's to come in with their decision on what to do next. He has gotten to a point where all he wants to do is sleep so they are very concerned about him since he is still loosing blood. :no: I will try to keep y'all informed on how he is doing.

More prayers for Cason. Is it possible he swallowed something metal or sharp and it is lodged somewhere or tore something going out? There are so many tests they can do now that shows every soft tissue organ.

"They didn't find where the bleeding was coming from but Cason started eating and drinking and is doing better."
She said she would keep me informed and I will post as I hear more info!
Just everyone keep him in our prayers! If you've never seen Cason, HE IS ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS!!!!!!!

Hi everybody,
Cason got to come home yesterday. He started eating and drinking and feeling a lot better. His blood levels stopped dropping. They still aren't great but they thought it would be better for him to recover at home then in the hospital. When they did the colonoscopy they found some spots on his intestins so they took biopsies and we are waiting on the results from those. Other than that they never found where he was bleeding from so we have to keep a close eye on him and he has weekly Dr visits to check his blood levels.
He is very happy to be home. Thank you everybody for your prayers. I can't tell you how much it means to me. May God Bless each one of you! <(' ')> <(' ')>
