Title: URGENT PRAYERS NEEDS FOR TXSWEETIE'S DAD

Please pray for her father..he was working in lousiana and suffered a heart attack.. thats all the news is got by word of mouth and i think she is on her way there.

From what I understand this happened to her dad and while her mom was trying to get to the hospital they had to stop and call the ambulance because I think she had a mild stroke............Prayers for all.........

i talked to her around 6 and she was on her way home to tend to things and then headed back to shreveport. not only all this does she have to deal with her son is headed to iraq sat morn, for 18 mo. she said she didn't know if she was coming or going but she was ok,said she would let me know how things go. she knows we are all thinking about her. my heart goes out to her.

Thank you all so much!!!!!!!  I am exhausted and I am sitting on my couch trying to figure out what to do next.  My dad is in CICU in Shreveport LA, they are a great hospital and have been very nice to my family.  He had 3 blockages to his rear cornery artery with one being 100% blocked.  He came out of surgery and his BP and pulse is now better than mine. lol 
My mom had a panic attack and possibly a small stroke enroute to the hospital and I had to stop on the side of the rode for the EMS to meet us to check her.  In the mean time I called my aunts (her sisters that are in Houston) to please come help me.  We finally got to the hospital and she is better and they are together.  My mom has short term memory loss and keeps asking the same questions.  I felt like I was in Groundhog day the movie today. (Yes I still have my sense of humor thank goodness).  Anyways I left my mom and dad in the hands of my aunts (one is a RN)  and my brother and I came home to get my mom some clothes and bring her dog to my house.  I am fixing to go to sleep so I can get up there early in the morning.

My son leaves for IRAQ at 7 am on Sunday morning and my mom and dad were supposed to go with us to the see him leave, but my hubby and I will go up Sat afternoon to say good bye. Needless to say my plate is very full but I am handling everything okay.  Hopefully I will have the strength to get through this all.  They say what does not kill us makes us stronger...............

Again thanks for all the prayers, yall are great bunch of friends!  I am so glad I have all of yall to lean on.

Lord, I ask that this family be comforted by Your love and grace. You said where to are more are gathered there am I in your midst. We may not be all together at this moment, but we are all praying for this family. Please watch over all involved and those that have traveled. Please bless and watch over this family.

Hello all.......  Dad had a rough night but he is doing better today.  He is still in CICU but he was talking and telling jokes tonite.  He is getting restless and wants to come home.  He had a echo today and no damage to his heart!!! YEA!!!  He has a long road ahead of him as he will have to have a major life style change (diet, no smoking and exercise).  He is also a diabetic but he says he is prepared to do it.  I am going to start walking with him 3 nites a week when he can around his neighborhood.  My mom is doing good and she is ready to come home to.
I leave in the morning to say goodbye to my baby, so yall pray I can hold it together for 2 more days.  THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More prayers coming your way!! My step Dad had a full blockage and his artery kinda bypassed it? Weird..Anyhow, he had a mild heart attack and the did put in a stent I think? He is fine now. But he had to make some changes too! It can be done!
