I saw on some other post that Giddings has something every Sunday this month?? What times? Anything else going on around us this Saturday? I'm sure not ready to run, but I do want to try and ride unless it's 30 below freezing!!!! :P

Saturday I know that there is a NBHA 30 in New Caney then Sunday is the 1st point show for STBRA in Katy. You do not have to be a member to run. Open starts at 1

Deb, the Dube's are having a Sunday series in Giddings for the month of January (only 2 more left). After that there will be another series starting for the month of February, but starting Jan 30. (1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20). I can give you more details on both if you need them.

Deb, it is put on by the Dube's. Here is the info I have on it:
Jan 2,9,16,23 Giddings, TX Lee County Winter Barrel Series
Exhb, 10am-1pm, $4. Youth 3D, 1pm. Novice barrels 4D not before 3pm. 4 Sundays in January. Jan 2, 9, 16, and 23. Must attend 3 of 4 to be eligible for prizes. $250 added each Sunday. 4-D Open, $30 fees. 7 & under barrels, $10 fees with buckle to high point winner. Youth 18 & under 3D, $14 fees. FMI call 979-542-3038 Contact:
Exhibitions are from 10am to 1pm, then they run 7 and under, then youth 3-D, then all the novice classes, then open 4-D. The open is $30 and is supposed to start around 3pm, but has been starting closer to 4pm.

Just a correction, the novice (green, $100, $300, $500) is supposed to start no earlier than 3pm and the open 4D after it. And you are right, the open has been starting about 4pm.

I will be there. Eddie has points in the $100 novice so I am going to try to make all four.
