I've only driven by, but I've heard a lot of great things about it. I'm thinking about entering the rodeo. Who knows?!?! Its the same weekend as WBR in Waco.

You all ought to come for the rodeo. I went last year shortly after moving here and it was not a huge turnout. Seemed to me (a non barrel racer... pickens was easy that way. lol) I tried to talk two friends of mine from the Valley into coming over to pick up some money since they were in Waco anyhow, but they didn't feel up to the trip.

If you all do make a trip over for the rodeo... bring an extra $20. They have a very nice steakhouse on site.

I was hoping you were gonna say the $20 was for the bar.

I think I could use a drink or two before my runs sometimes.

The rodeo wasn't too easy last year. I'm pretty sure Jana Riley won it as well (she won the WBR in Waco that weekend).

Here is their event calendar. http://www.circletarena.net/

Short of rodeos I don't see barrel races mentioned at all.

That facility is great and the people were really nice when I was there.  The steaks at the restaurant are really good too.

Tamet - It SHOULD mean Mandi Burden...but she said I would have to take it up with Mark.

Its funny that you mentioned it because I just posted about the brand on a different thread.
