Janet had an awesome run yesterday in Marshall at our Longhorn show.  She won the 1D all by herself.  We had a good show with 162 runners.

Yea, there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with her run!!!!!!!  That rascal was covering some ground! 

I stuck my foot in my mouth though!  I walked up to a friend standing in the arena by the 2nd barrel after it was over...they asked how I did....told them on a normal Longhorn show I would have won some money but Janet had to come in and jack it all up with that awesome run she made!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA OF COURSE I MEANT IT ALL JOKING BECAUSE I WAS LAUGHING THE WHOLE TIME!!  Thank God!  I looked up and Janet was standing right there!  I started laughing and said, "Oh I'm sorry!  But that run was awesome and I would have said that had I known you were standing there!"  I just love her to death because she's sooooo quiet about her winnings!!!  She has worked hard and earned everything she has ever done!!!!  She is a wonderful Christian lady and I support her on every run she makes!!!!!

But it did embarass me saying that!!!!  Guess I should have paid a little closer attention to my surroundings before I open my mouth....even though it was allllll said in a good way!  :ROFL2: :ROFL2: :ROFL2:

I saw her at Conroe for a bit..............I really love her too.  She's a very classy lady.  Cheyenne and I stayed at her house for one on one lessons and it was great a few years ago.  Congrats Janet!!!! :)/\\ :)/\\

Was she on the black horse?  About 10 years ago she and only one other person placed in the 1D at the Mesquite Blow out race and there were a ton of entries......ran all day and all night so had to be 800+ entries.  She was on Bo.  Congrats to Janet.  She is a great person and trainer......very classy.

No, she was not on Hobo....she was on Deacon, a big dark sorrel horse.  That joker NEVER stopped running I can tell you!!  It was the typical awesome Janet Stover run!  I remember that on the Mesquite Blowout...that was back in the day when Bo was outrunning everything......

Yes, Janet is VERY deserving of winning!!!!  And she is definitely a class act!!!

If I'm not mistaken she was on a HUGE Sorrel horse....like 16'3!!!  I've seen some fast times run in Marshall but that one was up with the best.  I had to look at the timer twice to make sure what I was seeing.  My daughter was the next fastest time with a 15.4!!!!! So that tells you "she was smoking!!"
