We are enforcing a full dress code! A western hat, jeans, long sleeve shirt, and boots are required! There will be a $10 fine if you do not meet these requirements

does this long sleeve shirts mean western shirt type long sleeves and no pull over t-shirt type?

Just read rules on their website and it simply says "a long sleeve shirt."  If they require collars, that will rule out most of the Cowgirl Tuff shirts and that's a big sponsor of their's.

Exactly. I imagine it's up to the WPRA girls themselves to comply to their own dress code because the rest of us don't have to answer to the WPRA. And that's the way I think it ought to be.

I didn't complain about it yesterday. It got cold quickly.

And by the way, the ground was good yesterday. Not dry and shifty like last time we ran there. But the humidity was high and the moisture stayed in. I hope they realize that it takes more work to keep it that way when the weather is really dry.

I somewhat see a need for dress code at WPRA level, but I've never understood dress codes (short sleeves vs long sleeves, hat) at barrel races where most of the folks in the stands watching are competitors..  Its such a petty thing...   Jurassic has never had a dress code or wrap n 3.  when its 100 degrees, the dress code in itself, make it not fun!!! just saying

I'm OK with it.  It encourages entries to buy photos and keeps those photographers coming.  I showed for a long time as a youth, and a ls sleeve shirt beats chaps.

BTW, where do we even find western shirts with collars now?  Davids in Weatherford didn't have any the last time I was in there (b4 Christmas).
