I live in Plantersville (between Conroe & Navasota) and Lilbit lives in Spring (between Houston & Conroe).  That is where the Crawfish Festival is.  I think it runs for two weekends.  There is a really awesome Cajun food restaurant in Conroe too.  Crawfish are in season right now.  If you ever head this way we have to go eat.

Of course your welcome.  We love the coast too, about 1 1/2 hour drive from here though.

The Crawfish festival is always in April.

May 5 is the "He Paid Your Fees" at Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery.  This is only about 10 miles from my house.  We have plenty of room to pull in your trailer and plug-in.  Got a couple friends that come in from Bandera every year and stay with us for this barrel race.  We can make room for horses as well.

When RU gonna come and visit me????? Heck, I live between Sam Rayburn and Toledo bend, I figured you would have already hit me up to go fishin or ski'n ! We got it all up here! Bring a boat or a jet ski and a horse or two....we can go get lost in the national forest too! Been there, done that, willing to do it again with some beer and a good friend! I was only lost for about 4 hours or so......Well, actually, I knew right where I was, just not how to get 5 miles back to where I started off that morning!!! HA!  lol Kinda freaked Jeff out because I was on Gabe by myself in the largest national forest of the area.....no cell signal and it was the middle of August! A lot of fun though! (woohoo)

May 5 is the Cowboy Church barrel race.  $5000 added & 4 saddles (4-D).  You can only enter 1 horse/rider combination but the horse can be re-run.  I have two that run...one is Glenn's rope horse and the other is the one I have been hauling. 

Glenn has an 8 year old daughter so your kiddos will have someone to play with too!!
