RM--i take meds to keep my heart rate down..whats wrong with yours?
Ummmm, I have an over active mitral valve prolapse.....thats all I know for now. They put me on BP meds about 4 years ago to the day and it droped my BP so low I was passing out....I have very low BP already ussually 110/70 most of the time and thats when I am awake and moving around. I dont know what they are gonna do. I have a heart monitor on now for 24 hours and I go back next friday for a 3 hour ekg....that oughta be a load of fun.....They let me go home after I failed the stress test...I only made it 3 minutes before I got dizzy, and felt like i was gonna pass out. Evidently it wasnt just cause I am out of shape cause the monitor they had on me showed some pretty abnormal stuff that they could not tell me about cause the Dr. was on call and on an emergency :! :! :! :! :! So, I guess I just have to sit here and wait for him to call. They did tell me that if my condition gets any worse that I am to go straight to the nearest emergency room....thats always good news :blah: So, no riding (woohoo) (
