Here it is again....last year we had 265 entries & it was a great barrel race with $3,000 added & great payout!

Saturday September 29th, 2007. Wharton Youth Arena off of FM 961 (not far from Hwy 59 South)

8 am books open, exb. barrels from 8:30 am till 11:45 am, $5 each. Close arena at 11:45 to get ready for the Open 4D @ 12 noon. Open 4D Entry fee is $40, $20 processing fee per rider. Books for Open 4D stay open until last 50 horses.  We will have a Youth 4D & Senior 3D (40 & over) after the Open 4D Barrels, you can carry over your time.
We will also have an Open 4D Poles after the barrels.  Fees for Youth, Senior, Poles will be $25 each.

If we have 199 entries or less we will add a minimum amount of $2,000 to the Open 4D Barrels.
If we have 200-299 entries we will add $3,000 to the Open 4D Barrels.
If we have 300 or more entries in the Open 4D we will add up to $5,000! 
We will also give away prizes & fun stuff throughout the day!

Cash only for entries please, you do not have to be a member to compete, this is not a sanctioned show, not for points.

We will have concession stand too!  Show will go on rain or shine, covered arena.  Limited hook ups & stalls available at the show.

I heard a rumor that Capt Jack would be there with his Finish Line stuff!   Maybe Kristy Knight with Knight Insurance too!

It is approx. 40-50 miles South of Houston out Hwy 59 towards Victoria.  The exit is FM 961, you would take a right & go down about 5 miles the arena is out in the middle of farm land...you can't miss it!  :cheeze:

Thanks for the estimated payout, but, are you putting 100% of the $40 in the pot?  Or, are you taking out 20%, 25%, 30%?

Stated Above 80% payback, that's 20% taken out, or so I read  it that way

So sorry, I forgot to put on my glasses. <DUMMY ME>  That means that of the $60 entry fee, $32 goes to the jackpot, $28 to the producer.  Sorry, but that is too off balance for me....JMHO. <HI>  I know that there is a lot of added money and only wish the best success to District 34. )&

ok i'm pretty much  dumb when it comes to math but just by looking (and i may be looking wrong (woohoo) ) but 80% of $60.00 is $32.00??? <$$$>

I am no math wizard by no means. But I thought 80% of $60, is $40?
