Well just got in from the night festivities in Augusta and it was amazing. Cody had a great run and is very deserving of his win. We were sitting just above the 1st barrel and when Hot Shot came down the alley he came harder than he has any this week. He was gonna make an awesome run and he fell hard. I have never seen or heard of him fallen and he had dirt all the way on the top of his hip. He looked like he was traveling ok going out of the pen and I really hope he is ok. Mikey was dragging during the lightening round and the ground was awful. The entry fee was $2500 per horse and it was just unreal that they didn't do better on the ground. Rumor has though that next year the lightning round will be a $1500 entry fee, 50 entries, and a 2d.
The rest of the evening was hilarious. Yes Mikey is really good at tackling pigs. One of my new friends, Brianna Coleman, caught one of the pigs, she was also in the Lightning Round.
