haha Ellen I can drive it! I can drive anything that we have here including his Pete with a 18 speed...he doesn't leave me much choice. Throws me in something and just tells me the bare minimum and then I get left to figure it out while he's usually yelling HURRY UP!

That's how I learned to drive a standard.  My dad bought me one, hooked it to the trailer, sent me to college and told me to call the police if I had a wreck.  I've not stopped since. :TIGGER:

I am not sure I will be able to be there by draw #23 cause I am riding with someone else and she doesn't intend on leaving till 9 a.m. from here and it is about a two hour drive.  (We are #212, #218, and #2 youth.)

Lol don't you love how they teach? I try to pay attention to whatever he's driving if I've never driven it before. The first time I had to drive the freightliner he was a few miles from the house and told me to take it out of the barn and bring it to him  >THUD< I didn't get the whole switching to high gears till a few times later..still working on the whole down shifting thing.

I think so. She is 23 on Friday, I believe.  That's when I have to try to get there.  I may work till noon but I will have to leave after that.

That sounds like how my dad taught me to drive things.  I was 12 when I started driving the truck around the farm.  He failed to tell me about it rolling backwards on a hill when you pushed in the clutch.  Figured that out on my own when I rolled backwards into the ditch and he had to come and pull it out.
