You may be right about that!  I may be busy and all with my daughter running, too.  We are running the same horse with me being #218 in the open and she's number two in the youth.  There won't be just a whole lot of time in between, I don't think.

We're doing the same thing birnintheturns.  My son is going to run my pony in the youth.  I will be #240 and he is almost last in the youth.  Good luck to yall.

YES.  I am coming in sometime Friday evening sometime.  I have to work.  I am trying to sneak out though so I can leave.  I will have everything ready and I will just need to get my son from school and wrap my pony.  I don't know at this time if hubby is coming or not.  He knows to be ready or he will miss the boat.   :TIGGER:

Oh, GB; that would be better if there were over 300 running!  That would give folks like gbacres and myself some breathing room.  (Glad I'm not the only one in which the horse is shared.)  A friend of mine asked what I was going to do with Jose between runs because there may not be time to warm him back up.  I told her that I'd just keep him warm by hand walking/lunging to cool him down but to keep him warm as well so a great deal of warm up time would not be necessary for Moriah.

burnintheturns--I late entered last year and on Friday I ran 2:00 a.m.  That's the reason I pre entered.  I think we will be fine and if it's that close together I plan on doing the same.  My son just started back riding and has only made one run on my pony, so.......I guess I'm not worried about anything but him holding her in the alleyway.  What I might do is walk her in and then let him step on her and go.  This is the first time we will make this many runs so I don't know what she is going to act like.  All we can do is try.  If it gets too bad, I will scratch him Sunday in the youth.

WOW!!!!  Do they really get that many late entries?  Even on Sundays?  Holy Smokes!  About how many do they run an hour?

I don't remember how many entries.  It was a bunch.  I don't know how many they will run an hour.  I hope they have more than 1 tractor.  I was calculating 50 an hour, but.........If they don't that gives us more time.

I was figuring about 50 per hour, as well but I think that would require two or more tractor drivers.

I would bank on around 40-50 an hour and there is already 250 signed up. I know a lot of folks dont like to pre-enter specially since there is NO REFUNDS. So, I imagine there will be many more that pull up Friday to run all weekend!!
