I much rather pay to have my horse in a safe place than at the trailer and know I can go shop and have fun without worring about them at a stock show.  The arena is located in walking distance of lots of shopping and fun places to go for the day while you are not running.
I also hope it puts a bird in the ear of Houston and we can do something like that here......$17,000 is a lot of dollars and me and my rowdy friends  hope to bring some of that south.  Can't wait to see how the payout turns out!!!  >SHOCKED< >SHOCKED< >SHOCKED<

You are so "right on" RodeoMom, these days you just never know what will be taken from you in a spilt second.  I would enjoy myself alot more knowing that my horse is in a stall, safe and warm.  .......... and agree with the other posts, you have the choice to attend or not to attend.

Hey...if there's lot to do withing walking distance then we don't even have to drive....we don't have to worry about a designated driver!!     Maybe I would drive my scooter.  That might be REAL interesting.

Ok I have question on the entry form...........forgive me for I am a bit under educated, priviliged or whatever..........Is mandatory to buy a vehicle gate pass???  ($24).........The rest of it I can understand........Fee+Stall+but a gate pass too???
