Mother Nature...I think it had something to do with Barrel racing too!! Oh, and the fact that when Gabe shot off the barrels, the saddle thumped me too!!! He was really coming off quick! Now, I just have to get him to keep going fast until we reach our next turn!!!!

My mare did reall well sat I mean ok ran a 17.7... sunday I was out of it and turned her too quick at the first barrell and she jumped it..I'm not kidding jumped over it didnt' even knock it down lol  my fault

I didn't look backto see if it was over, but figured itwas.. my hubby was yelling that it wasnt I just slowed her a little.... but it was awesome.. one lady said that horse tried everything she could not to hit the barrel to spite my efforts lol

Thats why I cant wait till 2008!!! We will be hitting the road like mad!!! Gabe will have Hick as a side kick too!!!!  Hick is gonna get exhibitioned and Gabe will be rocking and rolling...

One more tip that I learned about. For long hauls, use green jelly with quilts and standing wraps on the way there. Its not messy like the ice tight and it keeps their legs cool on the road...right along with shavings in the trailer. I just started to do this cause we are going so much... :see-ya:

gotcha thanks alot.. after the winter we are gone. my daughter's horse just seems not to be running like he was, got an appt with vet next week, do some folical testing...and we are trying another horse our for her this weekend. I can't wait, she is ready for a step up
