To top it off, I am originally from Gonzales, Louisiana.  I'm a transplanted Texan. :cheeze:

Even I knew there is a Gonzales, LA. Been through it or at least near enough to see a road sign that says so many miles to there
This came to me while chopping wood the other day. You've heard don't sweat the small stuff. I say save it for later and use it for kindling

It's between Baton Rouge and New Orleans.  Katrina spared it. It's closer to Baton Rouge...25 minutes and about an hour to New Orleans.

That's why everybody picks at me for being a "cajun".  I still go that way to all the big barrel races.  I just went to New Iberia a few weekends ago. I could drive that there I 10 just about with my eyes closed.  My rig knows it pretty well.

Yes, can't wait.  I've already cleaned my trailer out and started packing.  That drive will seem just down the road compared to New Iberia and other places I go.  I'm so excited.  I had fun last year, but I just think it will be more fun this year.  I'm trying to get Trouble n Texs to go.  I know he sold his ride, but I'm sure he can find something to ride.

the RCA rodeo in I think June..maybe end of May.
lol Yep Bob they still had it, they take 10 back to the show that night, needless to say we all made it back even the girl that got a NT that morning. And I decided since the air is so thick down there I would defey Gravity and Murphys law and see how high the second barrel could bounce.
