Chivas was laying down....ears back, then rolled flat...several deep fast breaths, stop, then more deep breaths.....This went on for several (15 minutes) while I was in hiding..... :)/\\ Went to check her a couple of minutes ago and she was up pushing hay into a "nest"....not really eating it. I decided to go ahead and put a sheet on Gabe. I went into her stall to check her and she had a brownish/ reddish fluid secretion from her vulva.  <..> <..> <..> <..> Maybe tonight!!!!

last year i was waiting not this one though, but thought i would share this. an old man told me if you will watch their milk and when their tits turn completly white they will have one within the next 24 hours and she did cause i was sure checking everyday. good luck and hope all is well

they  always seem to be born in bad weather!  Just like cows!  I remember I was SO excited to see 4 little white hooves when my baby was born.....luckily it was in May and the weather was nice.  Good luck tonight
