Im going to post a pic of my mare that is due to foal in the next couple of weeks .. this mare doesnt look too big in the pic but she does in person .. but I have a pic of her bossoms, lol, and was wondering if itll give anyone any indication if she is getting close

poor momma- looks miserable... I feel sooooo sorry for them when they're THIS close.... yes, what Tamet said, watch for her vulva to elongate and sometimes they'll develop a "waxy" subtance on the teats.  Make sure the baby can latch on when it gets here- she looks awfully engorged.

yall have got me scared now .. Sophie is at my inlaws and Im about to get dressed and go check on her .. her pootie poot has elongated and was *wet* earlier, around 2 this afternoon but she has not started waxing

My mare never waxed, never swelled, never even got a bag.  I thought my baby would never get here and then one day she had her.  So moral of my story is they may not wax but she looks ready by the pics.  Good Luck and keep us posted.

just got back ..  actually been  back a looooooong time but couldnt get that red head to shut up .... she kept me on the phone   <KICK YO BUTT> roflmao


Sophie looks the same ... her bottom is very long and saggy looking and she was all in my hip pocket .. shes so sweet ... but I threw her some hay out and left her. Mother in law is going to keep an eye on her tonight, stay home from church in the am and watch her. She is to call me as soon as she has it, if its tonight..
