No, I don't think she's ready yet.  I think her vulva will relax and enlongate even further before she has it.  There will be hardly any wrinkles when that happens.

You know DTA, I was the exact same way last year when my mare was getting close to foaling.  I kept thinking, any day now, any day now, she's gotta have it.  And then the night she foaled when I checked her, and saw her, I just "knew" that she was going to have it that night.  No doubt about it.  So I think that when it's time, you will know, 100%, no doubt about it.  When is her due date again?

Well, you could be like me!! The due date they gave me was way off. I was not expecting a baby yet. Went out to feed one night and there she was. I missed the entire birth!!!!!! <DUMMY ME>

Donald and I are 100% sure of the day Sophie kicked away Dash so other than the variances in gestation periods, we are sure on our part! As of today Sophie is at 330 days. If she's carrying a stud colt we have to allow more time for God to add it's brain........ :ROFL2:

It still may be a filly. I've seen them go two weeks over to one year for stud colts and you still have a ways to go before that. You didn't get the joke about where their brains are...... >PEACE<
