Need Road info for Giddings/ Carmine area
« on: April 04, 2008, 01:08:38 PM »
Hey y'all,
I'm needing to find a good place right off the highway to meet a lady Saturday morning in the area of Giddings/ Carmine.  She's coming from Austin and I'm coming from Tomball- we're a transport train for a rescued Catahoula Leopard dog that is making her way to Houston for a rehabilitative foster home.

You could meet in the arena parking lot.  It is right on 290 just west of town.  There is also the Wal-Mart parking lot on 290 on the east side of town.
Yesterday is history.
   Tomorrow a mystery.
      Today is a gift.
That is why it is called the present.

Thank You Sherry- I think we'll meet at the WalMArt- she's not a horse person- so may not know "arenas"- I appreciate the info...

no problem.  There is a good Chinese restaurant in the Wal-Mart parking lot if you are interested in eating while you are there.
