I think I've read almost all of this post and I really don't care one way or another about if it's a 6D or not.  I'm just as likely to end up in the 4D as th 6D depending on which driver error I make that day.

I'm really liking the idea of a blond redneck with roots mudwresting greased booger contest, but in all of this discussion, you guys have failed to mention 1 crucial ingredient to the perfect barrel race BEER

I've won money in all divisions except the 5 and 6D, though primarily in the 1 and 2D. It doesn't mean I'm against the others. I just feel they have their place and it isn't in ALL races.

Its amazing how posts with valid points get ignored (or accused of beating a dead horse) and the hijacking ones just keep going on and on....
People say the 1D people should appreciate the lower D riders because without them, they wouldn't make enough money...the lower D riders should appreciate the 1D winners - without them, the pace would be set slower and those people wouldn't be getting checks either. LOL!!!!!

Percentages show that there are still more people in the 3 and 4D than the 5&6D so I don't know that adding them has really impacted the sport that much.

At some barrel races the 5d is the 4d (2 seconds off the fatest time) So how can you say that you have not placed in the 5d??? Little confused?

That's exactly what I've been thinking as I've been reading these posts.....you forgot the other response to a valid point - "If you don't like it, don't go."  

If I don't like something about the race, payout or entree fee, I DON'T go!    Though, I think it is nice to be able to read feedback from others on this board, instead of going to races and wondering why the turnout is either low....or high....and not really knowing why.
