I just got good news that they didn't find anything on my pelvic scan.  So far it doesn't look like the Cancer has spread.  I will get the official word from my Doctor on Monday after he looks at everything.   Thank so much for all the thoughts and prayers!!!!    (((((((HUGS))))))))

update.  The doctor does not think the cancer has spread.   Thank God!
I should have surgery next Thurs.

I am set for surgery May 8.  My doctor still feels that the cancer has not spread.  He will remove my thyroid and some limp nodes and place me on thyroid and calcium meds.  He will cut at the bottom of my neck first but might have to do another cut on the side to remove more limp nodes if needed.  I told him I didn't care!  I am use to scars!  Just get the cancer out!   BB) 

I know the prayers are working!!!!        Love ya'll

What wonderful news.  We are sooo glad it has not spread and surgery is set.  Look forward to May 9 when it is all over and the downhill part starts.  I always look past the surgery day and dwell on how fast I can recover.....
