One of them used to work at McCoys in Tyler with a guy we used to rope with
soo sad for them!
It is sad. Mr. Barber was a wonderful man by all accounts that I remember. Though, I will say that I never visited with him a whole lot. . . my brother and I hauled together and we met the Barbers when we'd haul over to Marshall.
That was a long time ago. . .. I'm afraid to admit how long, though. I grew up northeast of Jacksonville, moved to Stephenville for a while, but have been here for right at ten years. . . .
My heart and many prayers go out to the family. I will have to call my brother and let him know. I think he'd gotten to know Lane a lot better than I, as he was a bull rider.
