Falling back on the verse in the Bible that says "Fervent prayers of a rightous man avails much." we are humbly asking for your prayers. I know that you guys probably don't know me or my husband, but we sure would like to have your prayers for Hal's healing at this time. During a routine colonoscopy, they found a tumor in Hal's colon. (And yes, I am going to tell you that if you're over 50 , go get that done!)
We see the surgeon on Thursday to find out what path we need to take. We know that it will more than likely be chemo for 6 weeks, then surgery, then chemo for 6 months. We have believed from the beginning for a complete healing and we still do. Colon cancer has a 90% cure rate (Thank you, Jesus!), but that does not eleinate the need for prayer. If you have a moment, Hal would appreciate your prayer for that healing.
